I had the wonderful privileged of being able to capture Garrett & Tiffany’s Gorgeous Rustic Wedding in my home town of Charleston, Arkansas. It was a beautiful day and made for wonderful photos of this super sweet couple. Tiffany and Garrett have known each other since High School and had been friends for years but only started dating a year before their big day. They knew that they were it for each other and got engaged around Christmas and started planning their May wedding day. There wedding day was made up of lots of sweet moments and lots of family and friends around to help. The bride and bridesmaids got ready at Tiffany’s parents house and enjoyed a morning full of lots of laughter and reruns of Disney movies! 🙂 Tiffany was just gorgeous in her mermaid dress with low cut back. It worked perfectly […]
Well hi again, everyone! Let’s give it up for one fabulous couple, who just so happen to be newlyweds. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Megan and Beau Riggs! I absolutely loved photographing Meagan and Beau’s wedding on March 6th at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I met Meagan and Beau for the first time when I took their engagement photos at Boreham Library at the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith and we hit it off right away. They are such a fun, laid back couple that is always laughing and just enjoying being together. Their wedding day was perfect and showed off their literary theme wonderfully. I wish Megan and Beau many years of love and happiness!!

Jessica and Brent’s fantastic fantasy wedding is one that I will never forget! When Jessica and Brent contacted me earlier this year and let me know they were having a Lord of the Rings theme wedding, I was so excited! From their engagement session at Terra Studios, Jessica’s bridal session at Fort Smith’s River Front Park, to their beautiful wedding at St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable all were styled to match their wedding theme. Jessica’s bridal session is one of my all time favorites with her gorgeous wedding dress and fairy wings and a beautiful fall day. Jessica’s dress was actually modeled after Drew Barrymore’s dress in the movie Ever After. She knew as soon as she saw it that it was the perfect dress for her. She had it custom made and it tuned out beautifully! Their wedding ceremony took place at St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable which […]

They are the sweetest couple and constantly laugh together. Their wedding day was beautiful. Various shades of Purple and White with a variety of flowers made the day absolutely perfect! I wish (couple’s names) many more years of love and happiness!! Nancy and John’s Beautiful Arkansas Wedding – Booneville, Arkansas

They chose to have their wedding at Avondale in Bentonville, Arkansas and it was a perfect location. I am so pleased to announce that I am a 2015 WeddingWire Couple’s Choice Award Winner and it’s all because of YOU! Your reviews of my service to you in 2014 brought me the attention needed by the judges to be considered and I appreciate it so very much! I can’t wait to see what else 2015 has to offer and look forward to being a part of and capturing your special days this year!
Even if your not a professional photographer, everyone can capture their special moments in their life each day with a little practice and determination. A single photo can speak a 1000 words and some day you may need each one to look back on those wonderful moments in your life. One way to get focused and in the habit of taking photos each day is to take on the 365 day challenge. This is basically a challenge to capture and post 1 photo for each day for an entire year. Though this can be very challenging, it can be very rewarding too. Another option would be to take on a 52 week challenge instead of a daily challenge, which suits some peoples schedules better.

On occasion I’m asked for advice related to what someone or family should wear to their photography portrait session. Now I am by no means a fashionista, but I am pretty good with color, so here are some ideas on great color combinations for fun summer photos.

I had the wonderful opportunity to capture Katlin’s senior portraits and have since dubbed her gypsy girl as the essence of her photos just scream it. I had so much fun working with Katlin and her mom. Katlin’s personality was very fun and vibrant and it comes out in every photo.
